tonight i made spaghetti squash for the first time - it was very good! i had this out in charlotte a few weeks ago, and had to try it myself. when i first looked at jewel, they didn't have any in stock. luckily i remembered to look again this past trip - they had a bunch.
hopefully this weekend will contain a bit of music. i'd like to see victor wooten tomorrow night. then, hit up this soul sister, sharon jones at double door on saturday night. only one more day till the weekend - word.
what's a girl to do? this is going to be really tough to pull together, but i'll have to try! just to see ONE show would be so much juicy goodness - wow! it's been approximately 676 days, 21 hours, 18 minutes, 23 seconds and it still took me by suprise. damn, it's been awhile.
sorry for the lack of updates, but i'm working out at a client's office for the next few months; which means my ability to blog & find catchy links is severely reduced.
i apologize for my absence, and i will really try to put up some stuff in the evenings, but sitting at a computer all day usually means i like to spend time away from it at night.....i miss you all & feel pretty disconnected from my daily links - hi kids! miss ellen is out there making the $$$$ to pay the bills.
thanks to all who made my 25th birthday party a HUGE success! the weekend was wonderful - thanks to all of you who made it over for the party.....this year has gotten off to a great start ;-)

is it too late? i hope not, as i really DO NOT want to go to war with iraq. here's a great quote from the article i linked:
